Koratagere: drinking-water stress in three villages; panchayat meets today
Falling borewells have increased tanker dependence. A new pipeline is awaiting technical clearance.

Three villages in Koratagere taluk are still relying on tankers even after the summer peak. Residents say borewell yields have not recovered.
The taluk panchayat meets today on tanker rosters and a delayed pipeline tender. Villagers have asked for two supplies a day until the line is commissioned.
A water-resources officer said new borewell licences will not be cleared without a recharge plan attached.
